Frequently Asked Questions
- 01
At this stage, Sentinel is focused on secondary schools. That’s where we see the most urgent safeguarding need. However, we welcome interest from primary settings — future phases may expand accordingly.
- 02
Sentinel is currently being piloted in schools—but the vision has always been wider. We believe trauma readiness belongs in every setting where people gather, and that includes homes and businesses. While we don’t offer direct sales through the website just yet, we’d be glad to talk about your needs and explore how Sentinel might support them. Just get in touch—we’ll follow up personally.
- 03
If you use your Sentinel kit in a real incident, we’ll support replenishment for the items involved. This is separate from the regular expiry-cycle replacements. We’ll help source replacements promptly and will price-match any reputable UK vendor. Just reach out when you’re ready — we’ll walk you through it.
- 04
Regular first aid kits are essential for HSE compliance — but they’re not designed to address the most serious injuries, like catastrophic bleeding. Sentinel is a trauma-readiness system created specifically to bridge that gap.
- 05
Absolutely. While many sponsors are businesses or organisations, anyone can step up — parents, PTAs, individuals, community groups. Every £295 sponsorship provides a complete trauma-readiness kit to a school that's committed to using it. If you’re keen to support a specific school or simply want to help where it’s needed most, we’d love to hear from you.

It's not recommended. Expired products can lose sterility and effectiveness and in serious situations, this simply isn't good enough - you want tools you can trust. Sentinel’s expiry tracking and replacement system ensures kits are always stocked with up-to-date components, so nothing slows you down when it matters most.
- 08
Yes, indirectly but meaningfully - Sentinel equips staff with practical and life-saving tools to stabilise seriously injured persons until professional help arrives, thereby supporting safe evacuation. This aligns with the real-world aims of Martyn’s Law.
